Happy Pokémon Dayyy ♡ In this stream I’m coming back to my Pokémon Violet save after basically shelving it in the post-end game since ~2023, and wow… the re-learning curve is real. We start with cozy Pokémon Day chats (including me spiraling about how many gens we’ve gotten in 30 years, electric mice every gen, and my personal plea for Pokémon to never go the AI route). I also yap about my starter loyalties (Bulbasaur bestie lately, I’m sorry) and how Pokémon Go + Violet are honestly what re-taught me a lot of modern Pokémon. Then we get into my very on-brand pre-game spreadsheet planning (yes, I have notes… yes, I’m like this) and finally jump back into gameplay to tackle 4 of the 8 gym leader rematches. We do Tulip (Alfornada), Kofu (Cascarrafa), Ryme (Montenevera), and Katy (Cortondo), with prep breaks in between because my brain needs a lil warm-up when I haven’t touched a game in years. If you’re also returning to Violet after a long hiatus, this is basically a comfy “we’ll figure it out together” stream—with some struggling, some nostalgia, and a lot of cozy vibes.
