okay besties… i’m not even gonna pretend i was normal about this game. i streamed late, waited for my giant vod to process, placed ads like a responsible little streamer, and then took my switch to bed and played pokémon pokopia until 3:30am. so yes, this is an unprompted saturday stream because i woke up with pokémon living in my brain and i refused to progress too much story off-stream. the goal was: get a little story done, let my pokémon center finish, and then i can decorate off stream without accidentally speedrunning the whole plot. in ep 2 we’re in the withered wasteland and i’m basically in full cozy-gremlin mode: reorganizing town layouts, building little homes (including a “nonflammable vibe” attempt for charmander… who is literally in a leaf hut anyway), and figuring out what the game actually wants from me. we get the comfort/environment level quest (raise it to 5) and talk about how different pokémon prefer different vibes—some want it dry and away from plants/water, some want more humidity near trees and water. also: i learned the hard way that if you pick up their little pinwheels at night, your babies will wake up shocked and SAD, and i will feel like a monster. cozy gaming is emotional, okay.
