Happy Wednesday, gamers — in this stream I’m back on my big ol’ modded farm for Stardew Valley Expanded + Ridgeside (and yes, also Zuzu City / Sunberry / Grampleton chaos). We’re in Winter 19 through Winter 25 of Year 1, harvesting seasonals, keeping the cheese stash thriving, and doing my usual “why is the audio like this on the loading screen” routine while we vibe. I also realize (way too late) that I can literally just walk to Zuzu City through the desert, which is… humbling. The big moment of this episode is me speed-running friendship with Marlin because it’s his birthday — and Expanded hit me with a cutscene I’d never seen before. I finally meet Crobus through Marlin’s storyline, get the sewer key, and immediately start planning my weekly Friday sprinkler shopping like the cozy little gremlin I am. After that I attempt to figure out Grampleton (spoiler: it continues to bamboozle me), trigger more Marlin lore up at the graveyard, and then I pivot into peak small-town behavior: going to the saloon and accidentally spending like $7–8k buying everyone beers… while trying not to hand alcohol to the kids. Cozy? Yes. Responsible? Debatable.
