In episode 7 of our modded Joja Co-op farm (Fall Year 1), I basically log in and immediately have to re-learn what Past Me was doing by staring at my inventory like it’s a crime scene. We poke around the upgraded greenhouse (it’s gorgeous but also kind of overwhelming), fix some audio echo chaos in voice chat, and do the classic “what are we even working on?” co-op shuffle. Mostly, we clock in: mining for ore, fishing for the quality fertilizer quest, and arguing about being “pot forward” because crab pots are my love language. We also do some real streamer talk while we grind—like how I don’t want to hear my own voice (that’s for you guys, not my business), why streaming without voice chat is easier when you’re starting, and my little tip about filling dead space (post-it notes with prompts is honestly genius). Then we rally the whole squad to Joja to trigger the Community Development Project cutscene, and yes… we finally snag the Steam achievement. The town gets “fixed,” Morris gets promoted, and we get the most corporate reward imaginable: a soda machine. Cozy capitalism, but make it comfy.
