I have something to confess: I’m in very, very deep with Animal Crossing right now. In this stream I tried to do the most unhinged (but cozy) version of “dailies” possible—hopping between Animal Crossing: New Leaf on 3DS, Animal Crossing on GameCube, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons (on Switch 2). It’s basically a nostalgia sandwich where I’m checking shops, assessing fossils, poking at museum progress, and trying to remember how I even played New Leaf back in the day. A big chunk of this hangout is me returning to my original New Leaf save (my character Mermaid in my town Seaside) and realizing my past self made… choices. The beautiful town ordinance had my villagers planting flowers for literal years, so my whole town is basically a rainbow flower apocalypse. I talk through my hybrid/organization chaos (alphabetical + rainbow order, because if there’s a tracking app, I will find it), my fossil progress, fruit collection, and all the little New Leaf quirks I forgot—badges, ordinances, shop vibes, and even the struggle of getting DS audio to behave on stream.
