hi gamers ♡ this stream is basically me ripping the band-aid off and doing my very first YouTube Partner stream (!!!) while I figure out what everything even means in real time. i’m live on the red app + the purple app, i’m nervous, and i’m using you as my very sweet guinea pigs while i test what’s working (and what is… absolutely not). we mess with memberships (BB bun tier!!), badges/emojis, member shoutouts, and i’m learning the hard way that YouTube has a LOT of settings i’ve never touched because i genuinely don’t watch YouTube streams. most of the stream is me tinkering in Streamlabs/OBS: setting up member + super chat alerts, testing text-to-speech, figuring out why some defaults are giving me the ick, and trying to make the alerts feel cozy and “me.” i also talk about the watch hours grind (tier 1 vs tier 2 monetization), why lurking/live viewers help the VOD boost, and how YouTube streaming feels different from Twitch analytics-wise (it can only help, it doesn’t really “hurt” you). plus: i brainstorm cozy content ideas like Animal Crossing sleep audio with a black screen so it’s not bright in your room. comfy, low spoons, and very much learning together vibes.
