This stream was a cozy lil Animal Crossing triple feature night: I checked in on my GameCube town first, then I took the plunge and played Animal Crossing: New Leaf on stream (for the first time!) through my capture card DS, and we wrapped it up with New Horizons on Switch. I technically can play all the titles, but three felt like the perfect nostalgic lineup for one comfy evening. I also yap a bit about my new RetroTINK (yes, the spency one) and why I’m excited to finally stop streaming “potato quality” retro footage—especially for stuff like my Sims 2 Castaway VODs. In the GameCube segment, it’s very “we haven’t logged on in a couple weeks” energy: cockroaches, weeds, reorganizing my house (big fat piano moment), and chatting with villagers like Tangy while I try not to get roasted by the wishing well for town upkeep. I also go on my usual GameCube agenda because it’s genuinely my all-time favorite console, and I talk through how I stream it (adapter to HDMI, then capture card, plus some splitters/switchers). Bonus chaos: we troubleshoot YouTube ads live, I try to manually sync ad breaks with my Twitch BRB, and we all agree me and YouTube are gonna be fighting soon.
