In this cozy lil stream, I do my classic “oops I was muted” moment, catch up with raiders, and then we settle in for an Animal Crossing night that’s basically nostalgia therapy. We start with Animal Crossing (2001) on GameCube (timestamp 00:56:37), and I’m in full comfy mode talking through my setup, my chaotic streamer admin chores, and why I’ve been so excited to play GameCube on stream lately. I also show off some of my collection because apparently I cannot be stopped once show-and-tell starts (GameCube/Wii/DS/Sims shelves… it’s a situation). Later we swap over to Animal Crossing: New Horizons (2020) (timestamp 02:12:06) to do dailies and vibe, and I talk about finally being forced to face the consequences of ignoring Happy Home Paradise (lol). There’s also a whole side quest about improving my retro capture quality: I ordered a super bougie upscaler so my GameCube/PS2 stuff won’t look like a potato anymore, which is huge for future cozy throwback streams. Overall it’s very “sometimes low spoons, always comfy,” with lots of community check-ins, cozy gaming energy, and a love letter to Animal Crossing across generations.
