About This Video

In this video I show you my 100% working method to track AcuityScheduling (Squarespace) bookings with Google Tag Manager and send the same booking event to Meta (Facebook Pixel), Google Ads, and GA4. First, I go inside Acuity’s left-side “Integrations” area and open the Custom Conversion Tracking (HTML tracking code) section. Because Acuity is basically an iframe-based booking form, many people think they need a separate GTM container for the iframe—but here Acuity already gives us a place to inject the HTML code, so we can connect it properly without creating another container just for the iframe. Then I explain my two-code setup: one snippet goes inside Acuity custom conversion tracking, and the second snippet goes in your GTM Web (or server-side/client) container to receive the data and fire tags. In preview mode (Tag Assistant), I test a real booking and confirm the event is coming through (like lead/converted), and I can pass parameters like email, appointment type, price, calendar, and IDs. One important limitation: Acuity doesn’t provide first name, last name, or phone in their variables (I checked), so in my setup I only send what Acuity allows. I also share my code doc link, and if your script doesn’t work the first time, I recommend you paste it into ChatGPT/AI tools to adjust it for your exact case.
