A Korea travel vlog that's perfect for first timers or people who LOVE to eat like me! :) Here's everything you should do in Korea if it's your first time visiting Seoul! I also go to go shopping at Costco Korea where they sell Korean skincare that is cheaper than Olive Young -- but I still had to do an Olive Young haul too. We went shopping at the Hyundai Seoul mall as well as Myeong Dong and Seongsu. Here are the best things to do in Korea and best things to EAT in Seoul :) ā™”Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mayaleex3/ ā™”TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mayaleex3 ā˜†My Amazon Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/mayaleex3?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_JT9S0VGBWNTWWMXDVA06 šŸ‡ÆšŸ‡µGet my 4-day Hokkaido, Japan itinerary here: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/lelrg šŸ‡ÆšŸ‡µGet my 7-day Japan itinerary here: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/kbfwp šŸ‡°šŸ‡·Get my 7-day Korea itinerary: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/puxkq šŸŒŽChicago: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/mnvdip šŸŒŽNYC: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/otgoln ā˜†Free 63 credits on Classpass for different workout classes: https://classpass.com/refer/EVA2NVKA28 ā˜†Get 80,000 points by signing up for the AMEX Platinum card: https://americanexpress.com/en-us/referral/platinum-card?ref=MAYALatn2&XL=MIANS ā˜†Earn 60,000 bonus points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card: https://www.referyourchasecard.com/19q/9XHUX0QJ9A ā˜†BILT rewards card for paying rent: https://www.biltrewards.com/card/referral/5JO1-7KN0 āœ‰ Business inquiries: mayaleex3@gmail.com

About This Video

Good morning from Seoul—this vlog is basically my ā€œfirst-timer’s guideā€ to what to do, what to eat, and what I’d honestly skip if you’re visiting for the first time (especially if you love food like me). We hang around Yeouido/IFC Mall, I do my Olive Young restock (the stuff that’s way more expensive in the U.S.), and I even try their skin scanner. I also found a Thai massage for about $50/hour… and let me tell you, it was the only relaxing part because they were really getting the knots out. I take you with me to Costco Korea to see if it’s actually worth buying skincare in bulk (spoiler: some of the prices shocked me), then we eat our way through Seoul—Hongdae dakgalbi for about $12 a person, Gwangjang Market (touristy, but a must for first timers), live squid, and the famous 75-cent sticky rice donut that tastes like deep-fried mochi/churro. We also hit cute cafe streets, the Kyobo Book Center, a palace stop, Namsan Tower (pro tip: the restroom view is elite), and end with districts like Seongsu and Myeongdong while trying to beat subway rush hour. I wrap it all up with what felt worth it, what wasn’t, and the easiest airport bus ride out.
