Best food we ate in Hong Kong, portuguese egg tarts, and cha cha teng-ing through our first time in Hong Kong! Here are the best things to eat and best things to do if you're visiting Hong Kong for the first time. We went to Victoria Peak as well as visiting the Monster Building and also ate some local Hong Kong food since our friend lives in Hong Kong! ♡Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mayaleex3/ ♡TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mayaleex3 ☆My Amazon Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/mayaleex3?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_JT9S0VGBWNTWWMXDVA06 🇯🇵Get my 4-day Hokkaido, Japan itinerary here: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/lelrg 🇯🇵Get my 7-day Japan itinerary here: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/kbfwp 🇰🇷Get my 7-day Korea itinerary: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/puxkq 🌎Chicago: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/mnvdip 🌎NYC: https://mayaleex3.gumroad.com/l/otgoln ☆Free 63 credits on Classpass for different workout classes: https://classpass.com/refer/EVA2NVKA28 ☆Get 80,000 points by signing up for the AMEX Platinum card: https://americanexpress.com/en-us/referral/platinum-card?ref=MAYALatn2&XL=MIANS ☆Earn 60,000 bonus points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card: https://www.referyourchasecard.com/19q/9XHUX0QJ9A ☆BILT rewards card for paying rent: https://www.biltrewards.com/card/referral/5JO1-7KN0 ✉ Business inquiries: mayaleex3@gmail.com

About This Video

Hello from Hong Kong—this was our very first time here, and honestly it felt like the blind leading the blind in the best way. I’m taking you with me from landing and figuring out the MTR/Airport Express (yes, we were fully asking “wait, where do we scan when we leave?”) to walking around and just being amazed at how good the skyline is. We also stumbled into little moments that made the trip feel real—like realizing it was cold and I only packed one jacket, or stopping for fruit that looked so fake I had to try it. For first-time travelers, I share the exact things we did and ate: riding up for views (and doing the “why do StairMaster at the gym when you can do it outside?” climb), exploring spots like the Monster Building and Victoria Peak, and doing a cha chaan teng day where the line moves so fast and the food comes out instantly. I don’t even drink coffee, but I tried their version of “Shia” and it was such a vibe. And yes—the Portuguese egg tarts were the one thing I was most excited for (my favorite), plus pan-fried dumplings that weren’t too oily for me, and fun drinks like mango passion fruit. Ending the days walking around at night was genuinely so cool.
