About This Video

In this video, I’m taking three super basic thrifted finds and giving them that high-end, designer feel—without the designer price tag. I love projects like this because you don’t need a perfect “before” to get an amazing “after.” It’s all about seeing the shape, the potential, and then adding the right finish and details to make it look intentional and elevated. First up, I’m making a Roman clay-inspired concrete table with that earthy, matte texture that instantly warms up a space. I’m using feather finish concrete (it’s my go-to for a smoother, more refined look) and tinting it with pigment so it doesn’t feel flat or chalky. Then I’m creating folk-art wall hooks—cute, functional, and the kind of detail that makes a home feel collected. And to finish, I’m turning a mid-century CD tower into a statement lamp moment, because I love a weird thrift find that becomes the focal point. The big takeaway: thrifted doesn’t have to look thrifted—finishes, texture, and simple upgrades are everything.
