In this video, I’m taking you inside a huge moment for me—an EXTREME retail store makeover for my antique general store vibe, and I’m focusing on a space in my shop called “The Den.” This room is all about the smaller goods and curated vintage decor, and when I first looked at it, it felt super sterile and honestly just didn’t have that natural light I love to work with. So instead of fighting it, I leaned all the way in and made it moodier, more intentional, and way more elevated with a dark paint color that completely changed the energy of the space. I walk you through my styling process from start to finish—how I layer pieces, build little moments, and make the room feel collected (not cluttered). The final reveal genuinely exceeded what I pictured, and it’s one of those transformations that proves you don’t need perfect lighting to make a space feel warm and high-end—you just need a clear direction.
