Morning guys — in this Living Alone Diary I’m taking you through a realistic morning where I’m trying to get back on track with my wellness goals. I start with a quick skincare moment (because I haven’t been giving my skin that much love lately and it’s been showing, especially with my hyperpigmentation). My hair was already done — love that — so I could just focus on getting out the door, eating a quick pre-gym snack, and moving with intention. Then we get into the gym routine: a beginner-friendly glute day that’s simple and effective. I always say you don’t need a million exercises — you need about four solid glute workouts, done properly, and you’re good. I also talk about why I’m prioritising steps right now (because lifting doesn’t automatically mean you’re active), show how I track progress with photos/videos in the morning, and add cardio like an incline walk to help me hit my goals. After the workout, I take you grocery shopping and share a healthy, high-protein haul to make the week easier — eggs, turkey mince, chicken, tuna, salmon, quinoa, fruit, and little staples that help me stay consistent. And of course, there’s a mini 2AM Amazon haul at the end because… it happens.
