In this Living Alone Diaries weekend vlog, I’m taking you through a super realistic Saturday—from getting ready for the gym (quick skincare, nothing too extra) to trying to stay on top of my hair routine now that I’ve cut it into a long bob. I promised myself I’m washing weekly, so before I head out I soak my hair in oil for a hot oil treatment and basically let my workout do the time for me. I’m also trying to get into the sauna, but we’ll see—weekends always turn into a mad dash when you’ve got errands. I also chat about why I upgraded my phone. My old iPhone 13 Pro Max was in mint condition, but the storage was just not enough—especially after updating software—so transferring footage and editing on my commute was getting “ghetto,” honestly. After the gym I do a quick grocery run (very minimal because I didn’t know what I wanted), talk meal prep, and then I’m back home with the heat cap on, eating lunch and letting my treatment do its thing. To finish the day, I wash, add a lightweight leave-in, blow dry, and keep my products simple so my hair doesn’t get weighed down—especially because I might press it. Then I pack a cute birthday gift box for my little sister (and yes, I’m still not spending £30 on a tiny bag charm), get myself together, and head out.
