Hey guys—this vlog is literally me doing a super quick 24 hours in Paris on a solo trip, mainly because I came for the Usher concert (so iconic, btw). I start off with a little hotel room tour and then I’m out dealing with travel hiccups straight away—water leaking on my Eurostar seat, and then the train ticket situation in Paris was a whole mission. On top of that, I left my memory card, so I’m trying to find one last minute and ending up vlogging on my iPhone because everywhere only had the wrong speed card. In between all of that, I’m just wandering, trying to find food (yes, I said I didn’t want burgers and still ended up in Burger King because I was starving), and getting ready for the show. The concert was honestly beautiful—Usher performs straight through, the vocals were insane, and it brought back so many memories. My biggest takeaway is simple: I went to the concert alone and I’d do it again. I’m not waiting around, begging people to come with me, or letting anyone hold me back—go live your life, do the damn thing you want to do, with or without company.
