We Took Our ZR2 Back to Toquerville Falls — Was It Still Easy? It was the perfect afternoon for an off-road adventure near St. George, Utah, and we had just enough time to hit a trail before heading back. We wanted something scenic, not too hard, but with an epic payoff — so Toquerville Falls was an easy choice. The last time we did this trail was in our 2021 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss, and it felt like a casual ride. But rumors were swirling that the trail had gotten rougher. Naturally… we had to find out for ourselves. We aired down the Chevy Colorado ZR2 and hit the trail — and right away, we realized this wasn’t exactly the smooth ride we remembered. After tackling some fun obstacles, we made it to the falls (and somehow had them all to ourselves). Drone footage? You bet. But then… we decided to try the loop section we skipped in the Silverado. Tight trails, washed-out crossings, and boulder-strewn stream beds had us seriously questioning our choices. In the end, we played it smart and turned around — but not before driving back over the waterfall one more time. Toquerville Falls is still one of our favorite trails in Southern Utah. If you haven’t done it yet… now’s the time. Just maybe think twice about the loop.
