Out here, water is everything. Run out and you’ve got a problem—and if you bring bad water, same thing. In this video I didn’t expect to be talking about an under-sink water filter on an off-road channel, but after installing the Frizzlife PD1200, I kind of get it. I unbox it, walk through the install under my sink, and show you the exact tools I used (drill, crescent wrench, bits, Phillips, and a 1-inch hole saw because my sink only had one hole). The PD1200 is tankless, the setup is clean, and the big promise is strong flow without waiting around like some slower systems I’ve dealt with. I also hit the one thing that almost made me not install it: my house wiring. The outlet under my sink is powered by a switch (early 2000s house problems), so I had to pivot—pull the dishwasher, drill another hole, and fish power from a different outlet. After running it for 20 minutes like the manual says, I tested the water with strips and a TDS meter. Tap water was around 100–102 ppm, my fridge and another filter were actually worse (111–113 ppm), and the PD1200 came in at 19 ppm. Bottom line: it did exactly what it advertised, and if you want truly clean water before and after trips, this is the one I’d install.
