Ram 1500 vs Chevy Silverado Trail Boss – Real Off-Road Flex Test

In this video, we take our 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn out for a real off-road flex test and compare it to the 2024 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss we previously tested on the same obstacle. Suspension articulation is one of the easiest ways to see how a truck behaves off-road. A truck that flexes well keeps tires on the ground and maintains traction on uneven terrain. Today, we line these trucks up on the same obstacle to see how the Ram stacks up against the Silverado. The Ram 1500 and the Silverado Trail Boss are both very capable trucks, but they are built with very different suspension setups and philosophies. In this video, we put them through the same test and see which one keeps its tires planted and which one lifts first.
