In this video, I put five language learning apps head-to-head to see which ones actually feel helpful for real-life language learning (not just “I did a lesson” and moved on). I’m studying five languages right now—Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, and German—so I’m always looking for tools that fit into a routine, keep me consistent, and support the skills I care about most. I walk you through my first impressions, what each app seems best for, and who I think should (or shouldn’t) spend time on it. I review Transparent Languages, Pimsleur, Jumpspeak, Memrise, and Busuu, and I share what stood out to me about the learning experience in each one. I talk about how the apps handle things like speaking practice, vocabulary building, structure, and motivation, and I compare them based on how they’d fit into an actual study plan.
