About This Video

In this video, I’m sharing a real-life update and then walking you through how I’m setting up my language goals for 2026. I start with the bigger-picture planning—how I’m structuring my goals so they’re actually doable alongside everything else going on—and then I break things down by language. The idea is to keep my goals clear and flexible, so I can keep showing up consistently instead of burning out. After the planning section, I go language by language: Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, Uyghur, German, Mandarin, Wolof, Irish, and Dutch. I talk about what I want to focus on for each one and how they fit into my overall routine as a polyglot who also loves travel and translation projects. I also do a quick recap at the end so you can see the full plan in one place. If you want me to go deeper and make a more detailed video for any of these goals (or how I’m tracking them), I invite you to comment and tell me what you’d like to see.
