I talk about a super gentle oil cleanser from Skin1004 that’s lightweight, doesn’t clog my pores, and (the real test) removes my waterproof Etude House mascara completely. If you know that mascara, you know it’s stubborn, so I was genuinely impressed. I also emptied the Dermalogica Oil to Foam Total Cleanser, and I’ll be honest: I love Dermalogica cleansers and their microexfoliant, but this one didn’t fully do it for me as a “makeup remover + cleanser” combo. When I used it on its own though, my skin stayed clear—like, coast is clear. Then I get into body care for my dry-skin girls: L’Occitane shower oil has been my day one since forever because it leaves this luminous, moisturized feel and smells amazing (it literally leaves an oil film so you can skip lotion if you want). Finally, for my oily-scalp/dry-skin gym era, I share the Arotica Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo—icy, squeaky clean, helps itch, but you need conditioner or a mask after because it can feel drying.
