This month’s empties are all skincare, haircare, and shower care—and I’m getting straight into the products that actually made a difference for my sensitive, (I think) fungal-acne-prone skin. First up is my absolute love: the Arencia Fresh Green Cleanser I picked up in Korea. It looks disgusting because I used it UP, but I’m obsessed—this removes my makeup so, so quickly and it’s been super kind to my sensitive skin. I’ve already gone through three of these, which tells you everything. My other holy grail is a hydrating barrier serum that I literally buy in bulk (like three or four at a time) because it single-handedly improved my skin texture. The biggest takeaway from this video: I do way better when I focus on barrier support + hydration, not harsh “active” pain. I used to think the more prickly a toner felt, the better it worked… and that is completely wrong. Gentle is effective—on skin and, honestly, in dating too. I also share a mask/toner-pad situation I use day and night for a quick skin prep before makeup, plus one SPF lotion I didn’t love because it felt thick and like it clogged me (oil cleanser is a must if you’re using something like that).
