Come with me to Spain — I’m taking you through Barcelona and Madrid in one cozy (but honestly freezing) little travel diary. Barcelona had the prettiest streets and the vibe was so dreamy, so we basically just walked everywhere, ate our way through tapas (cod fish, potato omelet, grilled stuff), and did the classic sightseeing circuit. I hit Park Güell (book your tickets ahead — I booked online so we could pass through really fast), wandered the Gothic Quarter, and had the cutest tea break with hot chocolate + a cannoli. We also did La Boqueria Market, saw the Cathedral of Barcelona, Arc de Triomf, Plaza Catalunya, and of course La Rambla. Then we train to Madrid (print your tickets, trust) and I show you the area right outside our hotel because it’s genuinely so pretty. Madrid was COLD cold — like 7°C — so I was on a mission for a beanie and basically just trying to stay warm while still being cute. I also take you shopping (Lefties + an outlet run), where I finally grabbed Oakley sports sunglasses because I’m starting tennis and I need real sun protection, plus a second pair “for vanity.” Little adulting win: bring a passport photo on your phone for the tax refund and you’re good.
