About This Video

hihiiii it’s kaylee—this vlog is a little pocket of my montreal exchange life from february, when winter somehow felt extra cozy and wholesome. i start the day getting ready (and realizing a new eyeshadow palette i’ve been meaning to try is a bit too cool-toned for me after learning i’m super warm-toned from color analysis). then i rush to uni… only to find out my class is cancelled, which turns into the most perfect excuse to slow down, grab a coffee, and actually embrace the city instead of doing my usual go-go-go. over these few days, i’m balancing classes, solo date energy, and meeting new people—like having dinner with veronica (we met through tiktok!), which honestly felt so full-circle and exciting. i also share a tiny moment of gratitude when i almost lose my metro card (with months of money on it) and a stranger immediately helps me. there’s a festival night in the freezing cold, and then the very real introvert recovery day after socializing—because on exchange, you weirdly become a social butterfly even if you get drained fast. my takeaway: romanticize the small moments, be grateful for kind people, and let yourself rest so you can keep enjoying the once-in-a-lifetime parts.
