I’ve been feeling a bit unmotivated, unproductive, and honestly - stuck. It’s been hard to find momentum when it comes to the more “work” aspects of life. But in that stillness, I’ve found space to reconnect with friends and say yes to things I might’ve otherwise declined. I’ve also been re-learning how to be by myself again, making intentional space to feel everything as it comes. A reminder, I guess, that slowness isn’t always a bad thing. As always - thank you for being here 🫶 xx, Julia [let's connect] instagram: https://www.instagram.com/julia.fei/ tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@julia.fei outfits: https://www.shopltk.com/explore/juliafei [about me] Hi everyone my name is Julia ~ I'm a 20-something-year-old data scientist navigating through life in NYC. About This Video

This week’s work-life diary is basically me trying to crawl out of a slump while my apartment (and my bed frame) actively tests my patience. I wake up early to grab Pop-Up Bagels (they’re fluffier, and the specialty cream cheeses are so good), then my sister comes over to help me build furniture… only for us to realize we’re missing pieces and it’s Memorial Day so everything is closed. My place is small, so when it’s messy and I can’t even walk around, it genuinely makes me feel more stuck. I talk honestly about that “not depression, but not myself” feeling—doing the bare minimum at work, falling behind on content, and having this huge urge to procrastinate. I also share what helps me reset: for me, washing my hair is a real mood shift, and I’m partnering with Prose because I like that they customize everything based on your lifestyle (and they make it fresh in Brooklyn). By the end of the week, I’m pushing myself to say yes to plans—LES event, dinner, a Williamsburg rooftop situation, maybe K-town karaoke—while still protecting my energy. I’m also relearning how to be alone again after a breakup, and trying to let Sunday be the day I actually feel my feelings instead of avoiding them. Slowness isn’t always a bad thing, but I’m learning how to sit in it.
