Town hop with me around the French Riviera in Nice—aka a day that was both chaotic and completely worth it. We tried to start early, but still didn’t leave until around 8:20, so we grabbed coffee and went straight to Antibes to try to get a good spot at Billionaire’s Bay. We actually made it super early (win), but most of the beach was closed that day, and the open section was gorgeous… but extremely rocky. The waves were rough and the water was surprisingly cold, so it wasn’t exactly prime swimming conditions. After about an hour and a half, we headed back to change and grabbed lunch at a random tapas spot nearby. Then we drove to Èze Village and oh my god—this place is straight out of a fairy tale. We wandered, took photos, and I popped into the cutest souvenir shops (I’m a citrus girl, so yes, I bought the mandarin liquor even though I promised myself I wouldn’t buy anything else). I even ran into a viewer which was so sweet. The only real downside: leaving Èze around 6–7 pm was brutal—rideshares were basically impossible, the bus was packed, and the roads were so windy everyone was holding on for dear life. But the night totally redeemed itself: a sketchy Google Maps route turned into the most breathtaking trail, and we ended with seafood pasta and limoncellos by the sea—good food, good company, and a good view.
