Hi friends! In this video I’m setting up October in my reading journal and, yes, it’s a long one—so grab a snack, a cup of coffee or tea, and settle in with me. I ran out of space in my main reading journal, so for the last three months of the year I’m switching to a travel size notebook as an “overflow” journal. I walk you through my October cover spread with a witchy purple vibe (think potion-room shelves, crystal ball, and lots of layered paper + washi), and I share how I balanced darker washi with lighter titles so everything still feels cozy and readable. Before the spreads, I also show the Tiefossi notebooks I’m planning to use in 2026 (including the square 8x8 that I’m obsessed with for a reading journal) and I share my dilemma between two A5 options for my 2026 bullet journal. Then we get into my October reads and mini reviews: Carving for Cara (3.5), Grave Matter (4), To Sway of Flame (4), Leave Me Behind (…a disappointment), plus The Timekeeper audio drama (4). I also include my Bewitched reading challenge pages (I chose the easy “triple sigil” because I don’t read a ton each month) and finish with a manga/manhua section—yes, it’s spicy BL, so consider that your heads-up.
