Welcome back to JR Pro Shop Vids everyone. In this one I’m recapping the Pete Weber Missouri Classic 2026 TV show, and yeah… 4 lefties in one show is wild. I break down how Matt Russo looked way more comfortable early and took control of Hayden in match one, and then how Thomas Larson (the lone righty) used being “all by himself” on the right side to his advantage. One of the biggest things I noticed all night was guys throwing a different ball on each lane—there had to be something going on with lane-to-lane topography, because it wasn’t subtle. Then we get to the main story: Canadian legend Graham Fach. I said it last week and I’ll say it again—I think he’s the best lefty, and he proved it with title number three. He stayed out of the hooking contest, played straighter with urethane (Black Hammer), and his shape was unreal. He starts front eight, only gets slowed down by a stone 9, and cruises into the title match. In the final, Justin Nolles tried a little gamesmanship by torching the front with a super-sanded reactive to mess with Graham’s line, and it actually made Graham’s first shot check early. But Graham made the adjustment, the Black Hammer went through the pins like no tomorrow, and he locked it up. With a third at the Players and a win here, I’ve got him as the early Player of the Year front-runner—and next week at the US Open, no urethane allowed, so it’s going to get spicy.
