My channel has a variety of info about Model Railroading in many scales, primarily HO scale. I try to respond to everyone's questions to help them along with their journey. Overall, I hope my relaxed yet descriptive approach to modeling will assist those new and old in this great hobby. - James For Collaboration and Business inquiries, please use the contact information below: 📩 Email: jlwreviews@gmail.com 🔔 Subscribe to my channel for more videos: http://www.youtube.com/jlwii2000 ===================== Disclaimer: We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage which is incurred from you acting or not acting as a result of reading any of our publications. About This Video

In this quick sneak peek, I’m showing pre-production HO scale THR 20-2 autoracks from Class One Model Works that are hitting shelves very soon (I heard December or January, even though the paperwork says winter 25/26). I don’t spend a ton of time doing the “every roadname” thing, but for the record these are slated for Santa Fe, UP, Burlington Northern, Norfolk Southern, CSX, Conrail, BNSF, Southern Pacific, Florida East Coast, and Chicago Northwestern. The big visual difference right away is the see-through etched metal side grilles—on these samples there’s no warping, which is a really good sign. I also dig into what the 20'2" height is all about. These tri-level racks showed up new or rebuilt starting around July 1990, and the extra height was meant to match max double-stack clearance and, more specifically, to satisfy Chrysler so they could load minivans on the B and C decks (instead of only the C deck on the ~19' racks). TTX used the TTQX reporting mark to differentiate them, and the fleet grew to a peak of 1,090 cars by early 1999. On the models, you’re getting a high-end 360-degree look: underbody brake/airline rigging, metal wheels, crisp warning labels, and nice roof corrugation and rivet detail. I finish with a quick roll test—these roll easily and feel low-slung with minimal wobble overall, keeping in mind they’re still pre-production.
