My channel has a variety of info about Model Railroading in many scales, primarily HO scale. I try to respond to everyone's questions to help them along with their journey. Overall, I hope my relaxed yet descriptive approach to modeling will assist those new and old in this great hobby. - James For Collaboration and Business inquiries, please use the contact information below: 📩 Email: jlwreviews@gmail.com 🔔 Subscribe to my channel for more videos: http://www.youtube.com/jlwii2000 ===================== Disclaimer: We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage which is incurred from you acting or not acting as a result of reading any of our publications. About This Video

In this video I finally dive into the Rapido Trains HO scale Greenbrier 7780 cubic foot reefer family—especially the CryoTrans and Lineage versions a lot of people have been waiting on. I start with a real unboxing so you can see what you actually get: the stickers, the parts diagram (Rapido lists a ton of parts—about 60 on this one), and the info sheet in French and English. Then I walk through the major variations I’ve got on hand (I went a little overkill and bought 33–34 cars): AOKX, CryoTrans (including the thicker upper sill version), UP ARMN high and low reporting marks, and Lineage (LX). A neat detail: the CryoTrans and Lineage cars have different names on the doors (like “Mississippi River” and “Blue Island”). After a detailed 360 on one car, I point out the separately applied grabs, cut bars, brake rigging, metal wheels, etched walkways, and even roof details like the muffler/plumbing on top of the refrigeration unit. Rapido also did roadname-specific roof patterns, and there are different refrigerator unit styles depending on the version. I weigh the cars against NMRA recommendations (mine came in at about 6.5 oz, which is great), check wheel gauge, and I’m upfront about a small defect rate in my big order—some warped trucks and one snapped truck—though TrainWorld’s customer service is taking care of replacements. The big headline is the sound-equipped option: you activate it with a magnetic wand, adjust volume from underneath with a tiny flathead, and you get indicator lights on both sides that show the unit is “working.” They still roll freely (just a touch more resistance than non-sound), and in my runby they don’t create drag problems even in long trains.
