This Echo PB-500H blower is locked up. It belonged to one of Ken's (@KensSmallEngineRepair) customers. The customer declined the repair and told Ken to to keep it. Ken sent it our way. I was told it was staight gassed and needs a rebuild. So lets rebuild it! Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NON-CORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors. Recently I have been using Simple Green PRO HD with good results. #Shindaiwa #echo #SmallEngineRepair #SmallEngine #DIY #Fixed #Troubleshooting #HowTo 2-Stroke, Air Leak, Carburetor Adjustment, Carburetor, EB-508RT, EPA, Echo, Fixed, Frozen Ring, How To, How-To, Lean, Low Speed Needle, Locked Up, Locked-Up, Micro D, PB-500, PB-500H, PB-500T, PB500, PB500T, Rebuild, Repair, Scored Piston, Seized, Shindaiwa, Single D, Small D, Small Engine Repair, Small Engine, Straight Gassed, Tiny D, Top End, Troubleshooting, Two Stroke 00:00 Intro 01:21 Unsticking the Engine 06:26 Teardown 06:57 First Look at the Damage 07:43 Pulling the Jug 11:50 Piston Removal 12:53 Assessing the Damage 13:59 Taking Stock 15:04 Assembling the Piston 19:36 Piston Install 22:58 Assembling the Jug 25:02 Cylinder Installation 27:13 Intake Manifold and Reed Valve 31:58 Unpeeling the Layers 34:18 Carburetor Install 36:04 Where is the Evidence? 38:08 First Start 42:24 Carb Issues or an Air Leak? 43:12 Carb Rebuild 55:30 Fixed? 57:12 The Clone War 1:05:34 Hopefully it Idles Better 1:08:53 Clogged OEM Carb or Needle Adjustment to Blame? 1:10:24 Trying it Out 1:16:12 Conclusion
