About This Video

In this video I start with the XENNS TEA PRO SE (aka the “SE/SC” version) and yeah—these are not just a “refined OG TEA PRO.” The original TEA PRO was bassier, thicker, more slam/body, with a bit of bite in the upper-mids. The TEA PRO SE is way more balanced and cleaner, with more treble air and noticeably less low-end authority. You still get good sub-bass punch and texture (it’s bouncy and fun), but this is not a low-end specialist, and if you wanted “OG TEA PRO but smoother,” this isn’t that. Tech-wise I put it around TOP PRO level, maybe slightly behind on sharpness/attack, but it’s fuller and more all-rounder-friendly. It’s smoother than OG TEA PRO, less bitey, and slightly brighter/airier up top. I also go over scaling (this is a mid-volume set—don’t crank it), genre matching (better for slower rock/R&B/indie/acoustic than rap/EDM), and tips (I used Softears Ultra Clears because the stock black tips were slippery). After that, I speedrun a bunch of recent IEMs and rank them: quick takes on stuff like Tangzu Xue Tao (not a gaming IEM), Sivga Nightingale Pro (technical but basically no bass), Heartfield Elephant (overpriced/outdated V-shape), plus a stack of sets like Hype 4 Mk1/Mk2, Mega 7, Dunu 242/142, Juzear Harrier, Portazzo, Orchestra 2, Meze Alba, and some new budget KZs.
