In this mini speedrun, I tested five new IEMs and did quick comps so you can figure out what’s actually worth your money. First up is the Punch Audio Portazzo (Portaso… potato). It’s a straight-up basshead set: thumpy, punchy, rumbly, and basically a mini Martillo / HBB Punch vibe, but with less resolution and less vocal clarity. The trade is you get more low-end quantity and better scaling because the upper-mids are cut a bit, so you can crank volume without getting blasted—just don’t expect “meticulously technical” at this price unless you’re buying it specifically for bass. Then I covered the Kiwi Ears Orchestra 2, which is the clean/neutral “vanilla plus” evolution of the Orchestra line: more bass and treble extension than the older ones, and the best clarity/separation in the family. But in the current market it’s competing with Canon Pro / Studio 4 / Pilgrim, so if you already own one of those neutral sets, you can probably skip. After that: Tanchjim FOLA is basically Origin/Fission/Nora/4U territory (same vibe, tiny differences), HiBy Yula is a decent older-style V-shape but only really makes sense on sale, and the Tangzu NoirBlanc looks sick but sounds outdated and shouty—hard pass unless it’s super discounted.
