A lot of banger IEMs dropped in 2025, and the choices are honestly getting stupidly overwhelming—so I did what I always do: put them head-to-head and speedrun a 32-set tournament under $600. This isn’t “here’s a graph” content. I’m comparing tuning, technicalities, scaling, and the stuff that actually matters when you’re trying to buy smarter and not get baited by hype. I call out sets that are basically the same product at different prices (looking at you, Fola vs Fision), and I’m picking winners based on sound/tonality first, not brand clout. You’ll hear my usual bias: I’m a vocal guy. If an IEM has that midrange pop, goosebump factor, and doesn’t turn treble into a knife, it’s going to do well. I also talk a lot about “special sauce” vs “vanilla” tuning—because some sets are smooth and safe, but that also makes them boring at $400–$500. By the end, the bracket basically turns into a battle between top-tier value and top-tier tuning, and my grand finals comes down to the Zen Tro SE vs the NiceHCK Rockies. Spoiler: I give it to the Tro SE for the more natural tonality, fuller low-end, slightly better treble extension, and the fact that it can be had cheaper on sale.
