About This Video

Back in September, my family and I took a cinematic road trip through three different states, and I turned the whole experience into a travel film. This video is less about “perfect” filmmaking and more about capturing the vibe—those small moments on the road, the scenery, and the energy of being somewhere new. It’s honestly one of my favorite road trips, and I wanted the edit to feel fun, fast, and cinematic without overcomplicating it. If you’re trying to make travel videos that feel like a film, this is the kind of project where music choice and sound design do a ton of heavy lifting. I’m using tracks from artists like laxcity, The Him (ft. Oktavian), and capshun to set the tone, plus extra SFX to make transitions and movement hit harder. And yeah—real talk—sometimes you forget clips, which is why I also mention stock footage as a backup option. If you want to see how I approach travel pacing, music-driven edits, and that cinematic road trip look, this one’s for you.
