In this video, I walk you through how I take Zettelkasten-style university notes inside Obsidian using concept mapping, Map of Content (MOC) thinking, and the Graph view to see the “big picture” of a course. Instead of keeping lecture notes as isolated documents, I connect ideas as I learn them—so definitions, theories, examples, and readings become a web I can actually navigate and revise from. The core idea is simple: Obsidian’s linking makes your notes behave like a living knowledge system, not a dumping ground. I show how I concept map a course by turning major topics into hubs (MOCs), then linking out to smaller atomic notes that capture one idea at a time. From there, the Graph view becomes a visual check: it helps me spot clusters, missing links, and where I need to strengthen understanding.
