In this video, I build (and give you) a powerful Zettelkasten-style learning setup in Obsidian—because most “zettelkasten in Obsidian” advice I see is either outdated, oversimplified, or just doesn’t use Obsidian’s real strengths. I use Odysseas as the case study: he’s done a great job popularizing self-education and calling Obsidian the king of learning tools, but I don’t automatically put advice “on the throne” just because it’s popular. I walk through the two big criticisms I have—credibility and practicality—and then I show what I’d change to make the system actually work for focused learning and deep work. My goal here is simple: help you turn Obsidian into a second brain that supports intentional learning, not just pretty notes. You’ll see how I structure the vault, how I think about linking and writing atomic notes, and how I’d upgrade a basic setup into something you can maintain long-term.
