In this video, I walk you through my actual thought process for turning messy, in-the-moment book notes into clean “permanent notes” inside my Obsidian vault. The goal isn’t to copy highlights or rewrite the book—it’s to extract the ideas that matter, put them into my own words, and store them in a way that I can actually reuse later for focused learning and deep work. I’m basically showing a Zettelkasten-style flow in Obsidian, step by step, with a real example. As I’m doing it, I focus on the practical decisions: what deserves its own note, how I title notes so I can find them again, and how I link ideas so they don’t just sit there as dead text. I also share why I’m practicing more ad-lib style videos—so I can publish more consistently—and I invite feedback on what would make this process clearer or more useful.
