In this video, I’m stepping away from my usual “here’s the Obsidian system, here are the plugins” style and just talking to you as a person. I start with genuine gratitude, because this channel exists because you showed up—and I don’t take that lightly. Then I rewind to the origins of the channel: why I started, what I was trying to build, and how that slowly turned into this identity around productivity, learning, and making Obsidian feel like a real second brain. But the main point is the shift. During a rut, I’ve been questioning what I ultimately want to do, and I’m trying to find a healthier balance between altruism, productivity, and self-expression. I share my new vision, what I want the channel (and my work) to stand for, and a few potential content directions I’m considering going forward.
