In this first spring vlog, I’m doing a proper Spring Home Refresh in our London flat—because the second the sun comes out I get that urge to redecorate, declutter and just make everything feel lighter. January and February felt so unmotivating for me this year (the grey weather did not help), so this was my little reset to get my space—and honestly my head—feeling better again. I start with a big IKEA job I’ve been talking about forever: finally putting wardrobe doors on. It took way longer than I expected (uneven floors, handle drama… the whole thing), but it instantly made the bedroom feel less busy and so much more “filmable.” Then I tackle my biggest problem area: the desk corner that had basically become a dumping ground for parcels, returns and chaotic cables. I flip the desk 90 degrees, tidy everything up, and test moving the big arch mirror to bounce more light around the room. I also pop out for spring bits—tulips and British daffs (they look funny at first but trust the process), plus Dulux paint testers to figure out the right white touch-up shade. I finish by sorting the TV cable situation with a new organiser, and share what I still want to tweak next.
