In this video I’m taking you through my cosy, realistic (but still productive) evening routine after getting home from work. I start by properly setting the mood — candles lit, rain in the background, jewellery off, comfy clothes on — and then I go straight into a little kitchen reset because I always feel so much calmer when the space is clean before I start cooking. I also share a couple of new routine additions that were gifted to me (a multi-collagen powder and women’s probiotics) that I’m excited to try, but I’m being honest that I haven’t tested them enough yet to properly review. For dinner I make a Yo Sushi-inspired teriyaki salmon bowl with rice and fresh bits like cucumber, carrot, spring onion and avocado, and I use my Ninja Speedi so it’s all done in under 15 minutes. While that’s cooking, I do a mini seasonal reset by taking down my autumn decor to make room for Christmas, plus I show you my very “grandma but I love it” M&S heated throw and a quick Mango boot try-on. To finish, I do a proper “putting the house to sleep” tidy, then we get unready together with my current evening skincare (Liz Earle, Dermalogica, Skin + Me and an eye serum). It’s the kind of routine that helps me recharge and wake up to a calmer morning.
