About This Video

I’m taking you with me on a November week away in Scotland — starting with my usual pre-travel reset (I love leaving the house clean and tidy so coming home feels like an actual reward), packing layers, and heading off to Edinburgh. I spend a cosy morning wandering around the city while everything’s already decorated for Christmas, and then it’s straight into a proper Scottish weekend: meeting up with Lyall’s family for the Six Nations at Murrayfield, and squeezing in all the little moments that make a trip feel so special. We then travel over to the Isle of Mull (so much travelling, honestly), where Lyall’s family have a small croft with island cows, sheep and goats. It was my first time on Mull and I was completely obsessed — especially with the baby Highland cows (and Hamish, who is just the cutest). It was also our 8-year anniversary, so there’s a little bit of celebratory energy in there too. I finish the vlog with my Edinburgh recommendations for a Christmassy getaway: the Christmas market on Princes Street, Stockbridge, Circus Lane, Glen Eagles Townhouse for dinner, The Dome for decorations, and St James Quarter (Bonnie & Wild is always a win).
