Happy October, loves 🍂 In this video I’m easing into the new month with the cosiest little reset—starting the morning feeling so tired (half 7 and it’s already pitch black… I’m still processing), popping my caffeine + hyaluronic acid eye patches on, and having a proper rambly catch-up. I chat through my nail situation (I took my acrylics off myself… would I recommend? not really) and my plan to try BIAB for my birthday, plus what I’m reading and how I’m trying to finish my last “summer” book before I fully swap into autumn reads. Then I take you through my current hair routine now that I’ve cut it—same affordable shampoo/conditioner combo, but I’ve been loving styling it with my blow-dry brush for volume and that bouncy little curl at the ends. I also do a bit of garden watering (my mint is truly popping off), bake the most deliciously moist courgette brownies for Bake Off snacks, and we head to IKEA early to avoid the weekend chaos. I share a small autumn homeware haul, we unbox a new plant delivery, and we build a few bits of furniture—including a second-hand extendable dining table find that was honestly such a win for our awkward dining space.
