In this video I’m taking you through my 6am autumn morning routine for 2025—perfect for when the days feel gloomier and the mornings get darker and darker. I start super simply with a fresh glass of water, then I light a few candles around the house to make everything feel warm and cosy. I make a peppermint tea and read for about 10–15 minutes (I’m still slowly getting through The Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry—really enjoying it, but it’s definitely a slow burner). After that, I do my morning self-care (toothbrush + skincare), and because I’m working from home I squeeze in a mindful workout. I keep mornings quite zen, so I do a 25-minute Pilates with Move with Nicole, then layer up and head out for a walk at our local park with a podcast on. Breakfast is a proper autumn bowl of oatmeal with spiced cinnamon apples, plums, maple syrup, pumpkin seeds and pecans—plus my vitamins (iron and vitamin D, especially important in the UK). Then I get ready and chat you through my everyday makeup, and I also share a big life update: I’ve soft launched my own interior design company, IRIDA INTERIORS, and I’m starting to build my portfolio under my own name.
