This vlog is basically my boyfriend bringing me on romantic (and honestly… pretty fancy) food dates in Melbourne because we’re celebrating something special. We’re officially back “on the grid” in the city, dressing up a bit more formal, and hopping between reservations we booked in advance. I start the days with coffee runs (the weather finally stopped raining!) and then it’s just food, food, food — exactly the theme of this video. We do pizza at +39, hot pot at Panda Hot Pot (it was so cold so hot pot was the only correct choice), and I also share little moments like grabbing bread and coffee when the rain ruined our plans. In between all the eating, we also shop around the CBD and I end up getting a super unexpected purchase: the Ray-Ban x Meta clear glasses. We literally went to five stores to find it because people kept saying it’s online-only, so I was genuinely in shock we got one. I do a quick unboxing in the vlog (full review will be separate), but you can see the camera placement, the speakers, and the case that lights up — it feels so futuristic. Overall, lunch was good, dinner was the best meal we had in Australia, and it was one of those “today was a good day” kind of vlogs.
