In this vlog I’m finally back after taking about a one-month break because work was honestly crazy, and I decided to come back with Vlogmas (episode 1!). I kick things off with my birthday celebrations—starting with a birthday meal and a Nutcake situation where I wanted a seasonal fruit cake but ended up with their full cream blueberry cake. Not gonna lie, I was hungry, excited, and also a bit stressed because it felt weird talking to the camera again after not vlogging for so long. Later, I meet my friend for my birthday dinner since both my parents were out of town, and we go to Straits Kitchen for their buffet. It was super popular, but we managed to get a table (plus there were card discounts too). I tried a bit of everything—prawns, mushroom, potato, chicken rice chicken—and the chicken was actually not dry (I think I got the thigh/drumstick). After that, I bring you along to my BLACKPINK concert in Singapore (yes, I bought merch—my first and probably my last), then we end the day with prawn mee and a cafe stop for the fig & ricotta toast I’d been wanting to try… only to realize I might’ve overhyped it. Overall, it’s a super chill, festive birthday-month kind of weekend that feels like a little holiday in Singapore.
