About This Video

I went back to Resorts World Sentosa (Reef/Weave area) because this time, most of the shops are finally open, and I wanted to do an updated “is it worth coming or not” review. First stop was Standard Bread—super popular, and yes, it really lives up to the hype, but you must come early. We queued about 45 minutes and still missed the famous salted bread because once it’s out, everybody just grabs it. The bread is crispy outside, soft inside, and I personally preferred the tomato basil over the chocolate (the chocolate gets a bit sweet after a while). After that, we used the itinerary I shared in the video: Standard Bread → Oceanarium → late lunch at Tyong. I bought tickets for the newly opened Oceanarium (about $49 on weekends, ~$42 weekdays) and honestly it felt kind of magical—jellyfish, big tanks, sharks sleeping, and just a really fun family-style outing even if you don’t know every fish name (because same). Food inside the Oceanarium is quite limited, so I’d recommend eating outside. To end the day, we tried Tyong’s Sentosa-only items like the lobster noodle and truffle chicken soup—both are super worth, comforting, and genuinely one of the best things I’ve eaten. Just note the crowd is real right now, so you might want to wait a few weeks/months for it to die down.
