This week I tried (keyword: tried) to be productive after my 5–9pm-ish corporate life, and honestly… is my week even productive? We shall see lol. I brought you guys along for a packed weekend where I was basically just going out, trying to “maximize” my days because if we don’t, the weekend flies past and then Monday is coming. I also did a quick outfit check before heading out—denim jorts + white singlet, loafers, and my bag—then we went around for a lifestyle weekend market vibe (fashion/furniture kind), and later we attempted to catch fireworks (twice) because the first time was a bit of a “hopefully we can see” situation. In between all the running around, I did a Shopee basics haul because Singapore weather is actually insane, and I’m always hunting for easy-to-style staples. I shared the crop tees (white + pebble grey), a ribbed baby tee, a padded tank, a dark purple ribbed long sleeve that gives Brandy Melville vibes, a polka dot top for dinner nights, and socks that look like the scrunched ones I usually buy from Korea. I also squeezed in food—trying prawn mee (I should’ve ordered dry because the soup is nicer and thicker) and a little “reward myself” dinner after work because I wasn’t feeling well the past week. Overall: not perfect productivity, but very real Singapore adulting.
