If you’re into journaling, planning, and documenting your life on paper like me, this monthly analog reset is basically our little hangout. I’m wrapping up March by flipping through the pages I actually used—my reading log/media journal, my daily recaps, and my weekly recaps—then I’m setting up April in a way that feels more joyful (because it’s my birthday month, hello aries szn). I love doing this every month because it helps me reflect on what happened, and it also gives me a realistic “okay, what’s coming next?” moment—at least we try our best, right? In my memory keeping journal (Paper Republic A5 trifold), I share what I finished reading and watching—like The Everlasting (I gave it 4.5 stars) and Project Hail Mary (book + movie). Then I show my March weekly recaps and talk through the highlights: celebrations with friends, working a wedding as a makeup artist, and a little winery moment with Chubs. For April, I set an intention to welcome more group activities (even though big groups make me a little nervous), and I build a bucket list to support that—birthday gathering, a spring activity like a flower farm, and planning travel for the year. Finally, I kick off April in my planners: I’m testing a new A6 six-ring binder for personal planning, and I show how I use functional Cloth & Paper inserts (plus a few tweaks I already know I want, like bringing back my favorite habit tracker). I also share a peek at my business content planning inserts from Poi & Hun, because having a paper view helps me stay grounded and organized alongside my digital planning.
